Carolyn Chen

I’m a chemist turned visual communicator. I’m passionate about engaging audiences through visual media to communicate complex concepts in science and medicine.

I earned my master’s in medical and biological illustration from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and previously studied chemistry at the University of North Carolina, where I first developed a interest in science communication as an undergraduate researcher.
